Flatirons Solutions, Inc. is looking to fill a Software
Engineer role for our Engineering
Operations Organization in Chennai, India.

Content Lifecycle Management (CLM) problems in some of the most interesting problem
spaces in industry today.
Our solutions are used in a wide range of functions within
organizations in the aerospace and aviation industry, including: technical
engineering change order management, documentation authoring and publishing,
flight operations manuals, data archiving, and other workflow, documentation
and maintenance products.
As a Software Engineer you will
Be part of a team of 4-8 engineers working to install,
configure, customize and integrate our CLM solutions for customers across the
aviation and defense industry
Understand defined requirements and work with various
stakeholders to design and develop solutions to meet those requirements.
Be responsible for estimating your work timeline and ensuring
that you meet your commitments to your Tech Lead and the team
Follow our Agile/Test Driven Development (TDD) best practices
and communicate issues quickly so that the project goals can be met.
Maintain a high standard around compliance with methodology
and standards, delivery times and documentation.
We’d like to talk to you if:
You are self motivated and willing to explore, learn &
work on multiple technologies.
You have strong analytical skills and can easily comprehend
complex IT solutions.
You have good written and oral communication skills in
English.
You have 4 or more years of experience in one or more of the
following:
Object oriented design
Relational database design
Experience in the full development cycle, from requirements
analysis through operations and maintenance
You have strong hands-on experience with:
Java
Spring/Spring Boot
XML technologies (XPath, XQuery, XSL)
XML databases
Experience with as many of the following is a plus:
HTML5/CSS3
JavaScript/TypeScript, AngularJS, Angular 2+
Cordova
ELK Stack
AWS
Agile development methodology
