POSITION TITLE: Associate Product Support Specialist
REPORTING TO: Manager
REPORTING LOCATION: Bangalore
WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore
SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:
The Associate Sustenance Engineer is responsible for
IT application support activities including maintenance, administration, and
Level 2 support. They will work closely with the Eurofins resources working in
Labs, Business Analyst and Service Desk to provide Level 2 support and to ensure
timely and efficient resolution of IT application-related incidents and service
requests. They will support Change and Problem management process also.
POSITION & OBJECTIVES:
Job description:
1) Develop expertise on in-house applications.
2) Responsible to drive all technical and functional
issues towards closure
3) L2 support - diagnosis, investigation,
resolution, coordination with business, application owners, infrastructure
support
4) Creation of ticket and tracking through lifecycle
5) Co-ordinate with L3 support for application bug/
enhancement requirement.
6) Support L3 team during implementation.
This role involves 24*5 rotational shifts supporting
internal customers (within the organization) and On-Call support.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
BSC/MSC/BC/MCA/MS-IT, BS-IT
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Competent in English.
Good knowledge on database manipulation skills (like
MSSQL/T-SQL scripts/queries)
Profile description:

an ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
Ability to produce clear written material.
Ability to communicate technical information in a
clear and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
