Responsibilities
- Implement
end user facing web-based features and user interfaces for mobile applications
and products
- Responsible
for optimising scalability, reliability and responsiveness of web-based
application pages, and to deliver compelling end user experience
- Architect
efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications
- Collaborate
with product design, product management and software engineering teams to
deliver compelling user-facing products
- Keep at the
forefront of emerging web-based technologies and trends, research and evaluate
latest web development frameworks, apply new technologies to drive iterative
product improvements
Qualifications
- B. Sc / B.
Tech or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields
- 3+ years of
JavaScript development experience, including ES6 and concepts like asynchronous
programming, closures and types
- 3+ years of
HTML/CSS development experience and strong familiarity with concepts including
layouts, specificity, animation, cross browser compatibility and accessibility
- Deep
understanding of the underlying design philosophy and implementation of at
least one common web frameworks such as React/Vue/Angular, able to adapt and
customise
- Good
understanding of frontend - backend multi-tier application architecture and
protocols, familiarity with product and software development lifecycle process.
