Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering 

Pharmacy or equivalent



Main Accountabilities

Design of formulations,
Production and scale up of products in pilot plant with the purpose of developing formulation

Design of stability testing and monitoring, interfacing with analytical laboratory, execution of basic analytical tests

Management of all interfaces (Brand development, Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality) in cooperation with the Technical project Leader.

Creation of specification of RMs and finished products.

Liaise with suppliers for identification  and development of new RMs/Technologies.

Collaborate with the discover team for incorporation of new technologies for the zero cavity platform.

Should well versed with competition tracking, patents, IP, claims and claim support requirements.

Required -

Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering Pharmacy or equivalent
3-5 years’ Experience in personal care product development, Exposure to oral care formulations preferred.

Well versed with the R&D functional excellence requirements for a design role.

Well versed with the new product development process and its requirements.

Well versed with stability protocols, formulation science and technology development.

Should be familiar with basic analytical tests and instrumentation.

Should have experience of using formulation assessment tools like viscometer, rheometer, pH meter etc.

Should be familiar with GLP and GMP requirements.  

Should be familiar with consumer testing of new products and consumer insighting.

Should be familiar with claim support process.

Ability to work in teams, good communication skills

Desired – Experience in statistics, clinical and claim support will be added advantage.
