Job Description
Supervision of day to day functioning of General Stores, Main
Pharmacy stores, IP Pharmacy, OP Pharmacy and Purchase departments..
Processing of all Capital purchases through proper approvals
and sanctions.
Organising and coordinating for Purchase Committee meetings.
Minimising the mis-match between System stock and Physical
stock by reducing pilferages, dispensing errors and conducting regular
departmental stock audits.
Minimizing the procurement cost of consumables by putting
continuous efforts for reducing the cost of consumables procured through - rate
negotiations, brand substitutions, shortening the channel of procurement, going
for rate contracts etc.
Preparing various MIS reports required for analysing the
functioning of department.
