Advt No.15/2019 : Junior Research Fellow

One Junior Research Fellow position is available immediately in a collaborative project, “Uncovering mechanistic roles for the post-translational modifier SUMO in early Drosophila development” funded by the Department of Science and Technology. The person hired into this position will work in a collaborative environment that will involve extensive interactions with other project members at IISER-Pune, and NCBS-Bengaluru. The person will work in the Drosophila Facility, NCBS and will use Drosophila genetics to generate CRISPR-Cas9 based resources.

Eligibility: M.Sc. in any Biological Sciences stream. Previous laboratory/research experience will be a plus.

Duration: Initially for a period of 1 year from the date of joining, extension possible for an additional year up to a maximum of 3 years in total.

Salary: As per DST norms.

Age Limit : Below 30 years
