Project Associate I: 05 Posts
Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering
or technology or Master’s degree in chemistry from a recognized university or
equivalent.
Chemical Engineering: 2 nos.
Mechanical Engineering: 1 no.
Civil/ Structural engineering: 1 no.
MSc Chemistry: 1 no.
Fellowship: i) Rs 31000/- + HRA for the scholars who are
selected through (a) national eligibility tests CSIR-UGC NET including
lecturership (Assistant professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process
through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments
and their Agencies and Institutions.
(ii) Rs. 25000/- +HRA for those who do not fall in (i) above
Age: Maximum 35 years as on the last date of receipt of
application. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.
Project Assistant: 02 posts
Essential qualifications: BSc. (Chemistry) / 3 years Diploma
in Mechanical/Chemical engineering
Fellowship: (i) Rs 20,000/- + HRA
Age: Maximum 50 years as on the last date of receipt of
application. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.
The selected candidates will have to work on the project
“Conversion of fouled end-of-life Reverse Osmosis and Ultrafiltration membranes
into membranes for zero liquid discharge plants and resource recovery
applications” funded by Department of Science and Technology. The candidate
will be working on laboratory and pilot scale activities. Master’s degree/
research experience/ prior working experience in the allied area are desirable.
These positions are purely temporary co-terminus with the
project, initially for the period of one year extendable only upto the project
tenure subject to performance. It would, not confer any right/claim implicit or
explicit for any candidate for claiming absorption in CSIR- CSMCRI.
