 Applications are invited for below mentioned posts in an Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) funded project entitled “Case-control study to assess the risk factors associated with the occurrence of pulmonary Mucormycosis in Diabetes Mellitus”. This project post is purely on contract basis for up to one year, or until completion of the project, and those selected shall have no claim for regular appointment under ICMR or PGIMER or any other project

 Junior Research Fellow (One post)

Eligibility: Masters in Life Sciences

Desirable: Clearance of NET /ICMR/GATE exams

Age limit: Below 30 years (5 years relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH/Women candidates)

Emoluments: As per the current ICMR guidelines (currently Rs. 35,960 per month fixed)

Nature of duty: Overall coordination for effective implementation of the project at respective study site/s, preparation of SOPs and strategies of implementation, Coordination with officials and local leaders at respective study areas, Supportive supervision and monitoring of the implementation of study procedures, proper packing and transport of the sample to the lab, coordinate the patient travel to PGIMER Chandigarh, periodic submission of reports, enter the data in the computer and assist in obtaining necessary administrative and financial approvals. Lab work at the department of immunology and microbiology would also be required from time to time, as suggested by the project investigators.

 All the posts are based at Haryana and Chandigarh.
