IITH Ph.D. Program

Chemistry of f-elements, in particular actinides and transactinides, is a challenge for modern quantum chemistry because of their electronic structure complexity. The proposal's fundamental objective is to analyze all the aspects of electron correlation in a balanced fashion and develop an in-depth understanding of the electronic structure and actinide-ligand covalency in various actinide molecular complexes using state-of-the-art computational methods.

Interested candidates are required to submit their application (Curriculum Vitae as well as a copy of M.Sc. Degree certificate and GATE/NET examination certificate if applicable) through an email to Dr. Saurabh K. Singh (sksingh@chy.iith.ac.in)  with the subject line “Application for the Position of JRF” by 20th January 2021.
