Applications
are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF, one post) to work in
the CSIR project entitled “Sustainable metal-catalyzed oxidative tandem
reactions: exploring novel approaches for synthesis of biologically relevant
nitrogen-containing heterocycles” – [02(0332)/18/EMR-II] under the supervision
of Dr. Kovuru Gopalaiah. Appointment will be made as per CSIR guidelines for
JRF position and detailed requirements are given below.
Eligibility
a) Candidate must possessing M.Sc. degree in
Chemistry or equivalent degree with
55% marks and passing of NET/GATE.
b) The candidate with background and
inclination towards Organic Chemistry in
M.Sc. will be preferred. Employed candidates, whether temporary or permanent, and those who have already availed higher fellowships like SRF, RA, etc., will not be considered for JRF position.
Age Limit
The upper age limit for applying to the post of JRF shall be 28 years as on the last date of application. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically handicapped candidates.
Duration of Fellowship
Tenure of the fellowship is till 31st May
2021.
Stipend
JRF: Rs.31,000/- pm plus House rent allowance
(HRA) and Medical allowance (MA) as
per CSIR norms.
Nature of Work
Synthesis, purification and characterization
of organic compounds having biological
properties.
