Job purpose

Responsible for maintenance of the HPLC instruments, Capillary Electrophoresis, Flow cam, Spectra Max and other analytical equipment in the Analytical Development team.

Key Responsibilities: 

Attend breakdown of analytical instrument in lab and get it operational with support from instrument vendor and ENM team.

Responsible for IQ, OQ, PQ for new instrument installation, calibration and maintain the supportive documents in coordination with QA and ENM team

Coordinate with instrument vendor and ENM team for maintaining spares required to avoid breakdown.

Maintain calibration schedule for the instruments in Analytical Development team on monthly basis with coordination with ENM

Trouble shooting and maintenance of all instruments like HPLC, UV, Capillary Electrophoresis, Flow cam, Spectra Max and other analytical equipment.

Maintain equipment log books, history card and list of AMC equipment’s.

Reduce down time of the equipment to give trouble free analysis to end user.

Provide technical support during installation of lab equipment with support of ENM and vendor.

Maintain Inventory spares parts of Lab equipment in coordination with ENM and vendor.

Knowledge of documentation work and report preparation regarding Qualification and preventive maintenance, change control required to be filled of all equipment’s.

Mail communication and coordination with end user and supportive group related to instrument issues.

Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices

Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety

Ensure environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures are imparted via training and adhered within the team

Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices

Ensure environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures are always training and adhered within the team

Educational Qualification: 

M.Sc.-Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical or Chemical Engineering

Technical/functional Skills:

Proficient in trouble shooting and maintenance of analytical instruments.

Should possess a sound knowledge instrument operating, calibration and lab operation activities.

Possess skill and sound knowledge for chromatography software Empower, lab solution for Agilent, shimadzu and water system

Possess good writing skill for mail to end users and vendors communication.

Should have computer Literacy for windows MS office

Experience:

3-6 years post qualification

 Behavioural Skills:

Should have the capability to work in a team and ability to handle demonstrate a good team spirit.

While possessing a good ability to follow instruction should also demonstrate innovative in his/her approach, good communication skills.

Should be proactive while working on allotted responsibility.
