Research
Associate, Bangalore, INDIA
We are
seeking innovative and highly skilled Research Associates with experience in
Assay Development and High throughput screening for Novozymes India R&D for
supporting development of next generation enzymes for different Industrial
applications. This position is based in Novozymes’ state of the art laboratory
in Bangalore, with strong cross-functional collaboration with other Novozymes global
sites. The position requires to find solutions to complex biological problems
to deliver better products to our customers more efficiently and effectively.
This will entail strong technical skills at the bench, problem solving
abilities, sound knowledge of the field, and excellent collaborative skills.
Tasks and
responsibilities
Secures good
team work within and across departments
Curious,
proactive and eager to learn and try new ideas
Builds in
depth knowledge about assay development and constantly demonstrates initiative
and leadership in improving quality and efficiency of work/lab environment.
Independently
prepares experimental plans within scope of defined/new projects
Lead own project
of limited scope or provide key contribution to optimization projects of larger
scope.
Demonstrates
ability to analyze data and form conclusions providing technical insight.
Qualifications
and Experience
M.Sc with 5-7
years of experience in any branch of life Sciences. Ph.D’s do not apply
Experience in
assay development with strong enzyme kinetics is a must
Hands on
experience with Liquid handlers and High throughput screening would be a plus.
