Job Description:
Function as NMR Analyst
Acquire variety of multinuclear, 1D and 2D
NMR experiments.
Interpretation of 1D and 2D NMR spectra of
Organic molecules for structure confirmations.
Effective preparation of Protocols and
Reports for the relevant studies.
Develop Identification and quantification
methods for small molecules by NMR.
Perform ID and Quantification studies for
small and large molecules on routine basis.
Meet all the compliances and documentation
procedures at the NMR lab
Assist in routine cryogen filling and day to
day activities at NMR lab
Meet all the requirements of the company
safety, ethics and quality programmes
Qualification
Master’s degree in Chemistry/Physics or
Biochemistry
3 to 5 years of Industrial/Academic
experience
Mandatory requirements:
Clear understanding of peptide/protein
characterization using NMR spectroscopy.
Knowledge on peptide/protein assignments
using tools like, SPARKY, CARA, etc...
Should know setting up biomolecular NMR
Experiments on Bruker operating system.
(Water suppression, TOCSY, NOESY,
ROESY, DOSY, HMBC, TROSY and basic 3D experiments)
Desirable requirements:
Experience in peptide/protein biochemistry;
working experience with SSNMR is desirable.
