About
the department
The
data management department was established in Bangalore, India in the month of
September 2007 and has significantly grown from 10 members to a strong team of
over 119 Clinical Data Management professionals. It is a young, enthusiastic
and dynamic team with varied skillsets and professionals from diverse
backgrounds such as Pharmacy, Life-Sciences, Physiotherapy,
Computer/Information Sciences and Business Administration. The key objective of
the department is to ensure high quality data delivery to the stakeholders. The
involvement of various groups in data management is significant in key stages
of trial setup, conduct and closeout.
The
position
The
key responsibilities of this position will be to support Clinical Systems
managed by Data Management Systems & Standards and ensure support for
mapping of data between Clinical Systems in Data Management Systems and
Standards. In this role you will participate and facilitate process changes for
Clinical Systems in Data Management Systems and Standards. You will support
site operations on different systems and support auxiliary departments. The
holder of the position is recognised for being service minded and flexible.
Also, the holder of the position meets deadlines, whilst still striving for
simplicity and contributing to the continuous improvement in the quality of the
outcome.
The
daily work is based in GD-GSC Bangalore. However, travelling for training
purposes or vendors for meetings is also part of the job. The scope of work is
often global. To facilitate the global collaboration and interaction,
international experience and cultural awareness is important.
Qualifications
You
need to have the below knowledge, skills and experience.
Master’s
/ Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or comparable degree in Computer Science,
Information Technology clinical information management or equivalent
qualifications
Minimum
0-2 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry and preferably 1-2 years
within clinical data management systems.
Experience
with systems in the Clinical System architecture
General
knowledge of computer systems and IT
knowledge
of GxP and guidelines within drug development
Regular
experience with communication and presentations
Experience
with collaboration across professional and regional borders
