Interview on 8th January, 2020 for a JRF Position at the Department of Chemistry,
Presidency University
Applications
are invited for a JRF position under DST-SERB project (Principal Investigator:
Dr. Anjoy Majhi, Project Title: ‘ Design and Development of Novel Small
Molecule and Biophysical Studies for Drug Designing Process ’ funded by
DST-SERB, Government of India, INDIA.
Post: One JRFProject Duration: ~3
yearsFellowship: 31000/- per month + HRA (as per university norms &
DST-SERB guidelines) for JRF positionProgress of the project work will be
evaluated after two years by appropriate committee following DST-SERB project
guideline. Based on their recommendation, JRF may be upgraded to SRF (for one
year).
Essential Qualification: The candidate must have good academic record
with at least 55% marks in Masters degree in Chemistry from recognized
University and must have qualified UGC/CSIR-NET with own fellowship or at least
NET (LS). Preference will be given to the candidate with organic chemistry
specialization.

2020, 12:30 PM at the Chemistry Department, Presidency University, Kolkata. All
interested candidates are requested to appear for an interview with the
following documents in two sets. (Documents must be self-attested).
1. Application
in plain paper addressed to the undersigned2. Latest CV along with attested
copies of all relevant testimonialsThe original degree certificates,
certificates (NET) and mark sheets are to be presented before the Selection
Committee on the day of interview.3. Thesis/ project report and publications
(if any)
4. Proof of date of birthNo TA will be paid for appearing in the
