Medical Underwriting
Responsibilities
Analyze information in insurance application
Summarizing new patient records
Figure out risk as per underwriting guidelines
and standard procedures
Evaluate recommendations from underwriting
software
Raise a request to obtain mandatory documents
and missing information
Decide whether to offer coverage
Resolve appropriate rating class and
corresponding premium
Comprehending and responding to customer
inquiries. Identify, research, and problem tackle.
Ensure that turnaround time and quality of the
work meets Company service standards
Get along with Onshore /Offshore and customer
in an encouraging and professional manner via email and on calls
Balance own work in process and support team
efforts to ensure that individual, team goals are met.
Maintain key records like working files, email
for reference and audit purpose
Qualification we seek in you
Graduate in medical stream- BHMS, BAMS, BUMS,
BPT, BDS, B Pharma, M Pharma
Experience in Group/ Individual Disability
Insurance /Employee benefit/ Workers Compensation/ Life/ Health and/or LT
