Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) came into existence in the year 1969. It works under the Department of Space which is directly governed under the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). It is mainly working to Develop Space Technologies for Satellite Launch and Other Space Operations like Extra Planetary Mission like Mars Orbiter Mission and Chandrayaan 1 & 2.
