Gandhinagar Pharma JRF IIT Gandhinagar invites applications for one Junior
Research Fellow (JRF) for research and development work in SERB sponsored
project in the area of Molecular Neurosciences. Interested and eligible

Designation: Junior Research Fellow
Project
Title: Impact of Ureido Protein Degenerative Modifications on
Amyloidogenic Peptide and Protein Aggregation: Implications for
Neurodegenerative Disorders
Essential
Qualification: Candidates must hold a 1st Class M.Pharm Candidate should have
cleared a National Eligibility Test such as CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship,
GATE or other National Level exam conducted by Central Government Department
and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DRDO, ICMR, IISc,
IISER etc.
In addition, experience with peptide chemistry, molecular biology and mammalian
cell
culture including exposure to biophysical characterization techniques (e.g.
UV-Vis, FTIR, CD, Microscopy) is highly desirable.
Duration: The
appointment will be limited to 1 year which can be extended upto 2 years based
on the candidate’s performance.
Emoluments:
Consolidated Rs. 31,000 per month and medical benefits as per the Institute
norms.
