Defence Research and Development
Organisation (DRDO) is a Military Research Organisation working under the
Indian Defence Ministry. Defence Institute of High Altitude Research (DIHAR) is
a constituent laboratory of DRDO situated in Leh. It is mainly engaged in the
research of productivity enhancement of fresh vegetable and animal origin food.
Applications are invited by the DRDO DIHAR from Engineering Graduates,
Engineering Post Graduates, M.Sc & PhD Degree Holder candidates for Junior
Research Fellow & Research Associate Posts for the year 2019.

JRF:
Required Subjects: Botany / Horticulture /
Biotechnology / Agriculture Science / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Zoology
Essential Qualification: M.Sc in first
division with NET OR B.E. / B.Tech in first division with NET / GATE OR M.E. /
M.Tech in first division at both Graduate and Post Graduate Level
RA:
Required Subjects: Biochemistry / Chemistry
Essential Qualification: PhD or Equivalent
OR M.E. / M.Tech with 3 years of research / teaching / design & development
experience and atleast one research paper published in Science Citation Index
(SCI) Journal
Age Limit: 28 Years & 35 Years for JRF
and RA respectively as on date of walk in interview.
Relaxable for SC / ST / OBC candidates as
per GoI orders.
Selection Process: Selection of Candidates
will be based on Walk In Interview. Walk In Interview will be conducted on 23rd
October 2019 in Chandigarh.
