Academic Level 14 entry pay of Rs.
1,44,200/-
Tenure of the Post Five years, which
could be extendable for a further period of five years, subject to a maximum of
sixty years of age.
Age Limit 55 years
a) A Master's Degree in any subject
with essentially good academic record.
b) About ten years of regular service
in Media or Mass Communication, specially Television, as Producer/Director or
Engineer or Researcher or Administrator with emphasis on ability for software
development, visualization and conceptualization of programmes and their
development.
c) Good communication skills to
involve University Academics in ETV Production and
d) Leadership qualities to manage
Media Technical and Administrative staff and to coordinate production activity
with Academic persons. The candidate will have to show/demonstrate software
developed by him/her when called for interview. or An outstanding scholar with
established reputation who has made significant contribution to knowledge in
the area of Mass Media (Television)
Desirable Qualification : i)
Knowledge and experience in computers & ICT ii) Knowledge and experience in
developing e-Content material and use in Higher Education iii) Knowledge and
experience in developing on-line MOOCs Courses and administering. (In case a
suitable person in the above grade is not found, the University may appoint a
person in the next lower grade. Also, in the case of exceptionally qualified
candidates in the area of educational TV/Film production, the qualifications
and age may be relaxed).
The Candidate should apply online
from 09.08.2019 to 28.08.2019 through the University website
admin.unipune.ac.in/recruitment and then take the printout of the said
application and attach attested copies of the necessary documents to the same.
The Candidate should submit the printout of the application form along with all
supporting documents and enclosures in the prescribed order as mentioned in the
following point number 6 to the Deputy Registrar, Administration-Teaching, Savitribai
Phule Pune University, Pune- 411007, on or before 30.08.2019
