Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP)
Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP), is a Dept. of
Biotechnology (Govt. of India) initiative and a not for profit organization
based in Bangalore. We act as an enabler of Bioscience Research, Innovation and
Entrepreneurship by providing Research, Development, Training and Services in
State Of The Art Technology Platforms. As a part C-CAMP's mandate of promoting
entrepreneurship and innovation, C-CAMP has created and fostered an
entrepreneur-friendly culture in and around academic/research environment
through its involvement in seed funding schemes for Startups, Entrepreneur
Mentorship program and Bio-incubation facility.
1) Associate Head
of Facilities
Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms, a part of Bangalore Life
Science Cluster (C-CAMP, NCBS, inStem) is looking for an experienced scientist
to join campus facilities as the Associate Head of Facilities. In this
position, the incumbent will report to the Head, Research Facilities.
Associate Head Facilities shall be responsible to support Head facilities
for managing administrative, strategic and day-to-day affairs of Core
Technology Platform/Research Facilities at Bangalore Life Science Cluster
(BLiSc). She/he will provide operational guidance to the various Facility
In-charges, in order to ensure the efficient functioning of respective
facilities. She/he will work closely with the Facility In-charges with a
focus on infrastructure need and financial planning of each facility, with
special focus on sustainability and resource/revenue generation.
Eligibility qualifications:
- PhD
in any field of life sciences or related subject
- Minimum
10 years of scientific experience
- Minimum
5 years of working experience in facilities environment
Desired:
Managerial experience in running facility operations, preferred with
sustainable facility operations.
Salary: Shall be commensurate with qualification and experience

2) Position:
Head/Associate Head, Operations & Business Development – Technology
Platforms
Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms, a part of Bangalore Life
Science Cluster (C-CAMP, NCBS, inStem) is looking for an experienced individual
for the above post. It is essential that the incumbents are well-organized
individuals, with prior experience of leading team efforts in commercial
environment, along with excellent communication and multi-tasking skills who
thrive on diversity in an evolving professional environment. Based on merit of
selected candidate an appropriate position will be offered.
Eligibility qualifications:
- PhD
in Life Science discipline (e.g. Biochemistry, Genetics, Biology, and
Zoology, Biomedical Science or other).
- Minimum
5 years of scientific experience
- Minimum
4-5 years of managerial experience in commercial operations.
Salary: Shall be commensurate with qualification and experience
