Visva-Bharati invites applications from Indian nationals for filling up the Chair Professor in Srimanta Sankardeva Chair. 

Name of the Post : Chair Professor in “Srimanta Sankardeva Chair”, Visva Bharati. Age Limit : Below 65 years. 

Salary : Rs. 1,70,000(Fixed amount of one lakh and seventy thousand only) per month. Tenure : Till 31.03.2023 Essential 

Qualification : Application with Bio-data are invited from outstanding scholars of repute in the field of religious and cultural studies and in the Bhakti Movement. 

An applicant should be proficient in its ideology, institutions, literature and philosophy and have commanding knowledge on Sankardeva. 

He should also possess a fair idea of the overall history and culture of medieval India. 

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR THIS RECRUITMENT : 01. Application with Bio-data are invited from outstanding scholars of repute in the field of religious and cultural studies and in the Bhakti Movement. 

02. Candidates must fulfill essential qualifications / experience on the last date of application. All educational qualifications must have been obtained from recognized University / Institute only. 

03. Candidates should enclose self attested copies of certificates towards the evidence of Age, Educational Qualifications, Experience etc. with the applications.
